March Update 2025
BBC plays, 1K Baby streams, new single soon...

So I'm feeling conflicted. I don't like the idea of self-promotion.
It just really gets to me. It makes me feel terrible. I don't know why exactly. I don't know why exactly I feel that bad about it, but I do. And it I think I'm just fundamentally cynical about it all and I never know if I can trust anyone with anything they say about my work especially gatekeeper people, people who think that they can get something from you just messes with me and has messed with me for a long time since I was very young and I've internalised that and I reject it but I still sometimes ask for things.
So I uploaded the last single to the BBC and it got played on the radio and they were really nice about it. And what do I do with that? Do I tell my audience about that and go:
Look at me.
People are paying attention to me.
You should pay attention to me.
You should believe in me.
Believe in me.
Put your faith in me
I'm just so not into that. But anyway, I'm making this to say that people have listened to it and they like it.
And it got a lot plays on SoundCloud, probably the algorithm just really liked it on that day.
In other news, Baby Poo Poo is in the 1000 plays Spotify club. Well done Baby Poo Poo. I always believed in you.
And the other bit of news is that I have a new song coming out a week on Friday, which is the 21st [March].
Anyway, I'm going to upload this uncut, but I will take the silences out. but I will not edit any words out, and then I will upload at the end of it what they said about me on the…

When I first listened that in the upload I had such a big grin on my face when I first heard that tune. It's another artist that uploaded to us quite a lot a few years back it's really nice to hear new music from him. Reminded me a little bit of Vampire Weekend actually you know the kind of urgency in the guitars and and the vocals as well
